About Noah Stark
Noah's father served in Unit 101 of the IDF in the 1950s, when Noah was young. Noah followed the same path, but soon after he finished his training, Noah deserted, left for France and joined the Foreign Legion in 1986. He was posted to the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment in Corsica, where he became a specialist in sniping, demolition, and deep reconnaissance as part of the Legion’s elite commando unit, rising through the ranks to adjutant. His military career saw him in perilous operations across the globe, including the evacuation of civilians during the Congo-Brazzaville conflict in 1997.
After two decades of service, Noah transitioned from the discipline of the Legion to a more chaotic civilian life. He grappled with personal demons: alcohol, gambling, and the search for meaning in a world less clear-cut than a battlefield. With the help of a comrade, he found a job as a trader in Prague, selling glassware and cheap watches. An opportunity to broker a deal in a rare metal put him in peril, at edge of the law.
Noah’s adventures take him from the smoky bars and backstreets of European cities to the wilds of Africa, where his military skills are called upon once more in the fight against poachers and for the conservation of endangered species. Despite his hard edges, Noah’s loyalty, courage, and sense of justice endure - qualities that make him both a survivor and a reluctant hero.
